Proposed Solar Farm Consultation – Weds 19th August
The Parish Council has received the following information from Greenvolt’s Project Manager:
I am reaching out regarding a planning application that Greenvolt Power UK intend to submit to the Wiltshire Council this year. The application is for a solar farm in Trowbridge. A letter drop to residents in areas potentially impacted by the proposal took place in the previous week.
We shall be holding a public consultation event on Wednesday 19th August, 3-7pm at the Southwick Village Hall to discuss and outline the details of this proposal. I encourage you to attend the event to learn more about our proposals and to receive updates on the project moving forward.
In the meantime, we would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. We also have a dedicated project website which will be updated as the proposals are developed: https://power.greenvolt.com/
